1875 FINANCE signs majority shareholding agreement with Alpha Leonis Partners
Geneva, 8 April 2025 – 1875 Finance announces the signing of a 51 percent majority shareholding agreement with Alpha Leonis Partners, a Zurich-based company specialising in private equity. This agreement is in the process of being approved by FINMA and the SEC.
Founded in 2006 and based in Geneva, 1875 Finance is a major player in asset
management, with over CHF 14 billion in assets under management and offices in Zurich and Luxembourg. Based in Zurich, Alpha Leonis Partners (ALP) is renowned for its expertise in private investment advisory services, primarily for professional clients. The company also has a US subsidiary in New York, registered with the SEC. With this merger, 1875 Finance and ALP aim to capitalise on the complementary nature of the two entities to offer a comprehensive range of high value-added investment services, in strict compliance with FINMA and SEC regulation.
